Open AI’s new chatbot, ChatGPT is a revolutionary game changer when it comes to content creation.

In the spirit of being totally transparent with you, I am absolutely swamped right now with a number of things. In addition to my various freelance clients trying to end the year strong, there’s also a number of other matters that are also taking my attention away from writing right now (e.g. is Twitter even still going to be around as a platform tomorrow and what does it mean for my brand if it goes under). Alas, that’s no excuse to not be putting out a weekly article. As they say though, the show must go on…

Luckily for you, the reader, I’ve been playing around with ChatGPT a lot lately. Developed by the brilliant folks over at Open AI, the prototypes for this chatbot launched in November 2022 and it’s been taking the word by storm. As anyone who has given ChatGPT a shot can attest, the AI-backed interface is capable of delivering shockingly in-depth answers to any and all queries. What’s more, users can actually interact with ChatGPT and prompt it iteratively towards an even better response.

To date, over one million people have given ChatGPT a try and this number is going to continue to explode exponentially. To put that stat in perspective, it took Netflix 3.5 years to pass a million users whereas ChatGPT was able to hit the seven digit mark in only a mere five days.
